A majority of Americans support diplomacy with the DPRK. In December, Quinnipiac found that 54% believe the US can resolve the situation diplomatically, and YouGov found that an even larger proportion (64%) supports direct talks with North Korea. This echoes polling from October and November and August and September, which found strong support for diplomacy.
