Jose Ayala is a fellow on the Inclusive Democracy team. He recently graduated from UC San Diego with a BA in Political Science/Public Law.

Jose has conducted research on the Civil Rights Movement's impact on the description of the Black American experience in historical textbooks. At UC San Diego, he served as a campus liaison and mobility driver for the university's transportation department.

During his free time, Jose enjoys going to the gym and taking his dog, Biscuit, for walks.

He is from Los Angeles and is an avid LA sports fan.
