Eva Galanes-Rosenbaum

As Chief Operating Officer (COO), Eva focuses on the things that make the organization work better, faster, and more equitably in pursuit of our mission. She oversees the systems, tools, and policies that are our internal connective tissue, including overseeing our People Operations work and liaising with the board.

For her first eight years with ReThink, Eva led our research and analysis work. Her many projects included major benchmark media and opinion audits; longitudinal retrospective audits; synthesized public opinion analyses; message research and guidance; and needs assessments of movements. She is a deeply curious data nerd who loves tough questions, and she continues to advise on some projects.

Prior to joining ReThink Media in 2013, Eva served as Executive Assistant at the World Affairs Council of Northern California and Associate Director at the Early Voting Information Center, where she conducted research on a range of voting reforms and implementation.

Eva holds a Masters with Distinction in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics & Political Science and a BA in Political Science from Reed College. Even while working—and especially in her off hours—she is usually thinking about food. She also enjoys dancing tango, imparando Italiano, and putting books on hold at her local library.
