Baz Holifield is ReThink Media’s Research and Analysis Intern for Spring 2025. A senior at Northwestern University, he studies Linguistics and Communications with a minor in Data Science. Before working with ReThink Media, Baz was a research assistant with the Linguistic Mechanisms Lab at Northwestern University, working to analyze linguistic disparities in reporting on gun violence incidents.
In his free time, Baz enjoys reading fantasy novels, learning languages, lifting weights, and cooking (always looking for a new recipe!). He also loves acting and regularly performs onstage at Northwestern.
