Eva takes the lead on tracking all public opinion polls and media coverage, and provides analysis and visualization. Eva has a strong research background and joined ReThink after several years working at the World Affairs Council, briefing the President and CEO on multiple global issues. Prior to that, she served as Associate Director at the Early Voting Information Center.
In her years with ReThink, Eva has conducted analyses on a complex and varied range of topics. These include: how the American public perceives drones and drone warfare; how the media has shaped discourse on money in politics and fair courts; the intersection of public opinion and media portrayals in shaping US policy toward Iran; and perceptions of the rights of Muslim, Arab, and South Asian Americans. She is working on leveling up ReThink’s graphics and visual storytelling game. In addition, she manages ReThink's website.
Eva holds a Masters with Distinction in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics & Political Science, and an undergraduate degree from Reed College in Portland, OR. When she isn’t geeking out on data, she is often thinking about food, advocating for multi-modal transportation solutions, mass-consuming podcasts, practicing coffee snobbery, or cycling long distances to end AIDS.
