As Chief of Staff, Eva's priorities are organizational brain teasers in the pursuit of our mission. She takes a holistic view of the organization and looks for systems, tools, and structural shifts that can improve our collaboration and the effectiveness of our work. Eva also executes special initiatives and other projects for our Executive Director and liaises with our board.
For her first eight years, Eva led our media, public opinion, and messaging research and analysis work. Her many projects included major benchmark media and opinion audits; longitudinal retrospective audits; synthesized public opinion analyses; message research and guidance; and needs assessments of movements. She is a deeply curious data nerd who loves tough questions, and she continues to advise on some projects.
Prior to ReThink Media in 2013, Eva served as Executive Assistant at the World Affairs Council of Northern California and Associate Director at the Early Voting Information Center, conducting research on a range of voting reforms and implementation.
Eva holds a Masters with Distinction in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics & Political Science and an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Reed College. Even while working—and especially in her off hours—she is often thinking about food, practicing coffee snobbery, or maxing out her limit at her local library.
