Nina Jayashankar is ReThink Media's Senior Grants and Partnerships Associate. Her primary focus is supporting the fundraising and sustainability of the organization. She assists in ReThink’s communications and development work by maintaining the data and systems used to manage our grants. Nina also manages the administration of ReThink’s membership program and contract work.
Prior to joining ReThink Media, Nina was the Operations Coordinator for Essie Justice Group, primarily working with their Deputy Director to oversee staff support and internal systems. She holds a BA from Northwestern University in Theatre and Mathematics with a certificate in Music Theatre. She brings a background in administrative coordination, project management, and DEI training.
Nina is also a New York-based actor who has worked in regional theaters throughout the country such as The Goodman Theatre, TimeLine Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, and The Engeman Theatre. She has also acted in commercials and industrials for companies like Deloitte and McDonald's.
